Many of my paintings are inspired by the people and events in my life - what I read and think about, the people who captivate me, ideas that perplex me.
Here’s a secret: I believe that paintings choose the person - not the other way around. I’ve seen it happen again and again. An individual walks through a room, glances toward a painting, and it’s almost as if the painting has winked and smiled at the person. There’s a connection.
